Common Causes of Failure of Structures

- Improper planning and design

- Irregular supervision and poor quality of construction materials used

- Lack of elementary precautions on earthquake measures

- Large scale violations of National and Local building rules and regulations

- Failure due to inadequate bond between concrete and re-bars

- Failure due to corrosion of reinforcement bars

Beware of fake TMT bars and follow the National building codes of construction with the help of experienced technicians. Earthquake cannot be prevented and therefore, civil structures must be made earthquake resistant. Earthquake resistant construction is less expensive than reconstruction after disaster. Remembers we can change color, tiles and bathroom fittings, of the house but not steel that has already been used.
